To access Blackboard you need to go to the Mansfield University Homepage and do the following:

At the top of the page is a red bar that is shown below

On this bar the next to last item says “Web Logins” and if you move your mouse over this item it will give you a drop down menu. The second item on this list says “Blackboard Academic System”.  If you click on these words it will take you to the following page:

On this page click on the Login button just below the Bb logo and it will open another screen that looks like this:

In the “Login Here” box you need to type the following:

Username = the start of your Mansfield University e-mail address up to the @ sign

Password – NNNNXXXX$ where NNNN if your first inital and the first three letters of you last name and XXXX is the first four digits of your Social Security Number and then add a $ (shift 4)
