Once you have this key in place you can now connect to your machine on campus and control it from the machine you are on. To make the actual connection you will use Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection. To open this program you do the following:
Click

Then go up to Programs.
Go to Accessories.
Go to Communications .
Finally Click on Remote Desktop Connection which will launch this screen.
Type in the IP address of your work computer and click Connect and you should
get the Novell Login screen .
Enter your password and you will then be working directly on your
campus machine.
A couple of things to keep in mind while in this mode are:
1) You are not working on the machine you are
sitting at, you are working on the remote machine.
2) You can only save things to the hard drive unless you left a disk in the
drive of you work machine before you left campus.
3) The response time will be slower than what it is in your office because you
are working remotely.
4) The connection may not work every time. We are just getting this up and
running, there will be glitches, when they occur, please let us know.
